I was reading an article on the BBC news website the other day that suggests that high heels, not the ultra high heels, might be able to assist in improving the function of the pelvic floor muscles. Pelvic floor muscles help to support the pelvic organs and for all those ladies who have had kids you may experience the occasional bout of bladder leakage, sometimes not at the best of times! Also orgasms might not feel quite like they did before!
The article suggested that by wearing a two inch heel the muscles are held in the best position, which, in addition to any other regular pelvic floor exercises, may assist in helping them contract and hence strengthen…. So go on ladies…invest in wearing a pair of heels and see if it works!
